What exactly does IFA Outsource do?

We provide specialist back-office support for independent financial advisers — covering everything from general administration and income reconciliation to Intelliflo data cleansing, document design, and client valuations. Think of us as your dedicated back-office team, without the overhead of hiring one.

Is this just a general VA service?

Not at all. Everything we do is built specifically around IFA practices. Joanne has 30 years of experience in financial services and holds the CertPFS — so we understand your compliance environment, your systems, and your workflows from the inside out.

Do I need to commit to a long-term contract?

No. We offer flexible arrangements to suit your practice — whether that's ongoing support, a one-off project, or ad-hoc cover when your team is stretched or on holiday. We work around you.

We use Intelliflo — can you work directly in our system?

Yes. Intelliflo is our primary specialism. We can work directly within your Intelligent Office environment across data cleansing, Document Designer, process and task management, training, and more. You don't need to change how you work.

How do you handle client data and confidentiality?

We treat your client data with the same care and professionalism you would expect from any regulated firm. All data is handled securely and in line with GDPR requirements. We're happy to sign a confidentiality or data processing agreement before work begins.

What size of practice do you typically work with?

We work with sole adviser practices right through to small and mid-sized IFA firms. Whether you're a one-person operation drowning in admin or a growing team that needs specialist Intelliflo support, we can tailor our involvement accordingly.

Can you provide cover when my administrator is on holiday or off sick?

Absolutely — this is one of the most common reasons advisers come to us. We offer ad-hoc and holiday cover so your back office keeps running smoothly, even when your usual team isn't available.

We're not exclusively on Intelliflo — do you work with other systems?

Yes. While Intelliflo is our core specialism, Joanne has hands-on experience with X Plan and Adviser Office too, so we can support practices using a range of back-office platforms.

How quickly can you get started?

Usually very quickly. Because we don't need lengthy onboarding or training on IFA processes, we can typically get up and running within a matter of days of agreeing terms. Get in touch and we'll give you a realistic timeframe based on your specific needs.

How do I know if outsourcing is right for my practice?

If you're spending time on administration that could be spent with clients, missing income that isn't being properly reconciled, or struggling to get the most out of your back-office system — outsourcing is almost certainly worth exploring.
